Vicenza Ovest (Near the fair)

Approaching Vicenza from the west, or coming down from northern Europe take the Vicenza Ovest (west) exit after passing Soave (halfway be-tween Verona and Vicenza - famous for its wine and medieval castle), and then Montecchio Maggiore where Romeo and Juliet's castles sit upon the hill.  You can either head straight to Riviera Berica (our road) along the access road which runs parallel to the highway (passing thru 2 tunnels) and follow directions to our B&B from the east (click here), or pass thru the industrial area where the Vicenza fair is (fiera di Vicenza) and follow the directions below.

As you leave the A4 autostrada (Milano - Venice highway) you will pass over a bridge crossing the highway and then reach a big circle.  Follow the signs to downtown Vicenza (Centro) but DO NOT go over the bridge pictured here on the left.  Stay to the right following signs to Viale del Lavoro and La Fiera (fair).

Vicenza is famous for its Gold Fair, attracting goldsmiths from all over the world during exhibitions.  The Vicenza fair is easy to reach from the B&B.
