Italian cooking courses and language classes are available at the bed and breakfast guesthouse both for long term students wishing to live in Italy as well as tourists passing thru who would like to pick up enough of the Italian language to make their tour more enjoyable and manage better at hotels and restaurants.  The guesthouse also offers "survival" courses in Italian for families touring Italy by car.

Italian food is undoubtedly one of the most popular cuisines in the world, and Vicenza has its own unique recipes and specialties like Baccalà or stockfish and the world famous dessert tiramisu.  Guests are introduced to the basics of Italian cooking at a local restaurant where Bob plays the piano which offers typical Vicentino food and has an excellent selection of wines.  The best way to learn Italian and how to prepare Italian food is in the kitchen of a local trattoria!
