Concerts in Vicenza

Every year the city of Vicenza holds a series of concerts in villas in and around Vicenza. The concerts are mostly classical music performed by world class artists but with a good variety of genres. Chamber music, lyrical and folk make up a good part of the concerts which often combine traditional music and dance such as Spanish Flamenco, Brazilian samba and other latin dance groups.

What makes these concerts special are the magnificent villas where they are held. Andrea Palladio and other Renaissance architects set the stage for these events in materpieces like Villa Cordellina Lombardi, Villa Poiana, Villa Cà Dolfin and Villa Cantarella.
