Via Tiepolo

The first right on Borgo Berga is Via Tiepolo which leads up to Villa Valmarana, the famous villa of the dwarves.  It was named after Giambattista and son Giandomenico Tiepolo who contributed frescoes and art to the villa and are largely responsible for its look. 

Turn right onto Via Tiepolo to get off Borgo Berga and park the car.  You can also follow the road up to the Villa which comes to a dead end and a square.  There is a dirt road which leads from Villa Valmarana out to La Rotonda which can only be followed on foot.  We suggest walking to Villa Valmarana (5 minutes on foot) and then out to La Rotonda (another 5 minutes walking) to get a good feel for the majesty and magic of the area.  You can follow the tiny cobblestone road up to Monte Berico as well, it's a wonderful walk.
