Vicenza and northern Italy are full of interesting flea markets which make for some interesting excursions as well as bargain hunting for antique dealers.  In downtown Vicenza there is a market every Tuesday and Thursday where you can find local produce such as fish, cheese and salami as well as fine clothing and shoes at good prices if you know how to bargain a bit.

On Sundays there are a number of interesting markets in the nearby communities around Vicenza like the farmers' market in Camisano where you can sample home made wine and porchetta, or the antique market in Piazzola sul Brenta in front of Villa Contarini where bargain hunters can find plenty of interesting antiques and handicrafts.  The nearby communities of Bassano and Asolo are also home to a number of interesting flea markets and antique markets.
