Right next to Bar Gallo is a lovely pastry shop called Pasticceria Gallo. The pastry shop is a classic pasticceria artigianale, producing their own assortments of pastries right on the premises. Although it's just down our block here, the pastries are absolutely out of this world! We often (maybe even too often) wolf down a brios and cappucino while taking our little one for a walk down the bike path to the villas. Pasticceria Gallo has a nice garden area where you can sit outside in the warm season and let the kids run around. Sunday is the traditional day for families to go out to the pastry shop in Italy, but there's no reason you have to wait till Sunday now is there? Coupled with a visit to the villas and a trip to the Oasis (a green zone with park and bird sanctuary behind La Rotonda), Pasticceria Gallo makes for a nice break and pleasant walk from the Bed and Breakfast. |
