Lake Fimon

Just 15 minutes south of Vicenza is the peaceful Lake Fimon, nestled in a valley in the Berici hills. The lake is a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and take a quiet walk around the lake. There are a number of agriturismos lining the hills around the lake which offer locally made food and wine from the Berici hills.

While the lake is easily reached in just a few minutes by car or city bus, you might want to consider biking out as the bike path behind the Bed and Breakfast will take you a good part of the way. The lush valleys and rolling hills are ideal for a bike ride amidst the green backdrop and will let you see much more than if you drove out. Once out at the lake you might consider renting a row boat or simply sitting down to some fine food and wine at one of the local restaurants or nearby agriturismos.
