Villa Da Porto (La Favorita) Set on top of a hill in Sarego, Villa Da Porto (also called "La Favorita") was built for Gian Battista Porto in 1714 by architect Francesco Muttoni. The 18th century frescoes by Jacopo Guarana have nearly all been restored. The statues of the villa are from the workshop of the Marinali. Completing the perspective are two rusticated porticoes on both sides of the villa. The charming little chapel was constructed in 1697. |

Villa Fracanzan Piovene Another opera by architect Francesco Muttoni as can be noted by the fine portico on the left, Villa Fracanzan Piovene in Orgiano south of Vicenza dates back to 1710. The kitchen is of particular interest as it is very well preserved and still being used today. The collection of tools in the kitchen of the villa is remarkable. Inside the villa walls there is also a museum of rural civilization. |

Villa Pojana Located in Pojana Maggiore near Noventa Vicentina, Villa Pojana was originally designed by Andrea Palladio but underwent numerous changes during its construction in 1566. The left wing of the villa was added much later in the 18th century. The frescoes inside are from the 16th century by B. India and A. Canera while the stuccoes are by B. Ridolfi. The statues of Jove and Neptune on the sides of the front staircase are by G. Albanese. |

Villa Barbarigo Loredan Rezzonico Mistakenly believed to be the work of Andrea Palladio, the architect of Villa Barbarigo Loredan Rezzonico is still unknown. The frescoes inside the villa (now the town hall in Noventa Vicentina - about 35 kilometers from Vicenza) have only recently been discovered and restored. The frescoes are the work of Vassillacchi Aliense and Foler. |

Villa Trento Valmarana D'Aremberg Carli Although attributed to architect A. Pizzocaro, Villa Trento Valmarana D'Aremberg Carli may well be the work of G. Albanese. Located in Costozza, about 15 kilometers from Vicenza, the villa was built in 1645 and makes use of classical forms in the middle section for variation. The staircase leading up to the entrance focuses attention on the middle section which houses a triangular tympanum. |

Villa Garzadori Da Schio Actually three villas in one set on different levels. The residence at the foot of the hill has lovely Ionic loggias and frescoes in the central hall which has a painted wooden ceiling. On the right is Ca' Molina with its fascinating facade which combines 18th century features with its 16th century structure. The small villa on top was built by Garzadori in 1690 and is decorated with frescoes most likely the work of L. Dorigny. |
