Roman baths of Giunone

Halfway between Vicenza and Verona just past Soave are the Roman baths Terme di Giunone. These olympic sized swimming holes surrounded by a lovely picnic area date back to Roman times, when men and women each had their own bath area to swim in. An excellent way to spend your holidays in Italy is to take a refreshing swim in these thermal springs after walking to the top of the castle and touring the medieval town of Soave.

The Roman baths are open all summer, catering mostly to locals enjoying their holidays with the family. Tourists are quite welcome of course as the management is proud to share the rich heritage and history of the thermal springs with foreigners on holiday in Italy too. The baths are just 25 minutes from Bob & Jenny's Bed & Breakfast in Vicenza.
