We prefer the smaller family run trattorias around town where you can grab a bite to eat and still keep your shirt on your back, yet there are plenty of fine restaurants in Vicenza serving great food at reasonable prices too.

For some excellent local food typical of Vicenza and the Veneto region of Northern Italy you might want to try Trattoria Il Pestello downtown.  The cozy atomsphere is just right for local delicacies and you'll find foods you can't find elsewhere in Italy.  Vittorio's pizzeria just down the road from the B&B offers real Napolitano pizza and ambient.  There are also some fine self service restaurants in Vicenza like Righetti near the duomo with good food at good prices.
